driveshafts universal?

would a drive shaft out of a 93 shortbox reg cab work for an 87 shortbox reg cab?

Same trans? Check the pinion shaft size and the length of both driveshafts.

i would almost think not since the 87 didn't come with 4l160E or 4l80E but the only way to tell is messure them
