Welcome from NW Indiana. Up until now I have never heard of a C20HD with that GVW. I learned something today...

Hey....No it's not a camper special. My uncle ordered it From Wilkerson Chev. in Tulsa in 1978. He worked for Mapco Pipeline at that time. The truck was configured in the same fashon that trucks on the North Slope for building the Alaska pipeline. The rear bumper is 3/4" weleded plate on top of a 2" rolled steel pipe. I have seen it loaded with a 8000 lb welded pipe flange in the back. It finally rode a little better. It has 9 leaves in each one of the packs. 13" wide rear brake shoes. It's mostly original except for the motor which is a crate from GM. Thanks for the welcome, I will get pics posted soon but back to work for now.
