need some swap help

i have 78 chevy 3/4 ton lwb 4x4 350 engine turbo 400 transmission trans is going bad i have a 76 1/2 ton swb 350 engine turbo 350 transmission transfer cases look the same both cast iron  i know the shaft diameter is different lol ,the question is the difference in lenghth the t-400 set up is about 3 inches longer so are my driveshafts an issue to do this swap?

Just by being a SWB vs LWB the driveshafts will be an issue, the Transfercase is just another variable.  SWB trucks are 14" shorter than a LWB.  You will need a different input shaft and a shorter driveshaft at the T-case.
