Hi from the new guy in socal

hi all, lost the last nice hello due to time out lol, so just another 52 year old working on a 84 stepside purchased new, at 200k mi. the college rebuilt a 5.0 and installed it about 4 years ago, also had the trans done heavy duty, haven't driven it in about 4 years, rebuilt e4me is in the kitchen waiting to go on....just now getting back to the swing of things after lots of distractions lol.
time to get it running! let's see, change the oil and filter, the coolant....install the carb, hmm...what am i forgetting?
Dad and I bought the 84 new, My hands quit working due to spine injury, truck sitting 2 yrs. #3 intake blowing air thru carb, now with 14k mi., r/r at local community college. For sale, $3500, 5 Acres/cabin, $175k/ rent back incl. till cases close, Help!
