rear cab trim
« on: February 23, 2010, 09:48:03 pm »
hi im building a 1983 chevy c-10, and im wanting to get the rear cab trim thats normally on a silverado and put it on my cab, because i like the way it looks, but my cab never had this trim so i dont have the proper way to mount it, so i was wondering if any one has put this trim on there truck that never had it before, and if so what did you use to secure it to your cab? i was thinking on double sided tape, let me know post pics of how you did it thanks 8)

The two sided tape would be the easiest however there would be a little gap between the two.  They also have molding screws that you can use to hold the plastic clips on.  They have the same design head that would be spot welded on a cab from factory.  There would be a lot of laying out to get it right though.

If interested in the screw way I seen northland fasteners have them.  24 for around five bucks.  Part number N09877
