mabuhay! not so new from Philippines

 been registered here since 2007 and still consider myself as a newbie... :)
been trying my best to preserve my unit '77 custom-30 crewcab but been difficult locating parts here/locally
i do have sources for used (US surplus) and been thinking of converting to dually differencial? problem be the outer flares? any possible leads in where to import such?

I think he means the rear dually flares since he was talking about converting it to a dually rear axle. Is that correct lindsdavid?

Welcome, nice truck. As a young kid 10-12 yrs old, Spent 2 yrs in the PI.  Lived at Subic Bay, Dad was in the Marines.

thanks guys...its my work truck used mainly to deliver my pool tables





easily loads 1.5 tons (2 pool/billiard tables, 7 crew members) no truck ban in metro manila, type-I on express/tollways...what for can I asked??? ;)

     Welcome back, looks like you took a couple of years.  Love your truck, been looking for a 77 k30 crew single rear axle for awhile now, almost got one about 6 months ago, but someone else beat me to it.

the less surface area you have of a tire the less resistance= better millage. then the taller the tire you are essentially dropping the rear ratio numbers, so if you do alot of stop and go it wont help but cruising you will save. i went from a 16" wide 38 to a 12" 38 and picked up a little over 1 mpg
