I like the idea of a stubby truck. I'm really considering something like that for a race truck.

I dont think shortening a truck this much would be good for racing unless it was 2wd and alot lower.

i'm not sure that the vibration would be from the leafs, maybe the driveshaft? or the tires as you said. is it a constant vibration, or just when you are on the gas? does it change with the rpm's as you are moving?

I talked with the previous owner of the tires and he had the same problem so Ive got my problem fixed. I just need to rebuild this junk Qjet now or replace it with something else maybe a 2 barrel motorcraft off a Ford they dont seem to have the problems the qjet does hillclimbing. I also need to replace my CB its making some strange noises and needs to be gone through.

the q-jet can be more reliable in the off camber situations in off-roading. i have used a holley, edelbrock, and now back to the q-jet because it delivers fuel where the others wouldn't..

Anyone got a link to some longer travel shocks for the front? I think I could flex out more if the shocks weren't limiting travel.
