Cash for Clunkers
« on: February 27, 2010, 07:18:51 am »
What's up with the Cash for Clunker cars? I thought they were supposed to have the engines blown up or siezed up and then they were going to crush the car. I found some on Pull a Parts website while I was looking for a engine for my daughters Tracker. The code is C4C. I think somebody lied......again. But they did get alot of Obama stickers off the road!

Maybe "somebody" didn't get paid by the gov't for whatever reason.....

The whole "Cash for Clunkers" "program" was stupid and was horse product;

The rule(s) should have been:
If you have a car older than X number of years and could prove it, was insured/tagged for at least a year previous etc., then you're eligible for a $4000 rebate period.   You can keep your old car.

YES! That means I get $8000, right?

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
