All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

Finished the passanger side today.  Might swap the doors tomorrow if the weather is ok.

If everything goes well I'll take the truck down to my storage warehouse next week.  The previous tennant was a body shop.  There is a paint booth there but we just use it for storage.  I'm going to clean it out, pull the truck in and shoot some paint on it!

Got most of the body work on the cab done.  I put on the new fenders, doors and inner fenders.  I need to do a little work on getting the fenders and doors perfectly aligned, or at least to a place I can live with.

While the I had the bed off I cleaned up the bottom of the bed and primered the bed supports with rustolium.  I also bought some Chassis Saver and coated the frame from the cab back.  I have a lift at my company's warehouse and I plan on painting the rest of the frame on the lift in the future.

Over the next couple weeks I'm going to be working on the small rust spots on the bed and install a used drivers side gas take I picked up yesterday to replace the leaking one I took out.  I'm also going to attempt to fix the AC.  Looks like everything is there but I assume that the compressor might be bad because the belt is off.

The next big project will be the paint. I'll start that in May.

Great progress man!  Its amazing how some new metal makes such a change.

If you want a color change, ask the body shop how much...   When I had mine painted, they did the inside of the cab for $50 extra.   The paint was in excellent shape though and they only had to scuff and shoot.
