New bed for my brothers 3+3.. good story with funny pic
« on: March 08, 2010, 11:13:39 pm »
so...  my brother finds a fairly straight bed for his '74 3+3 on CL, its still attached to a 85 C20 in the heart of an Oakland, CA neigborhood..   lets just say "rough" neighborhood.  so the master plan was to go to Monster Jam at the oakland Colliusium to see some awesome monster trucks, but just leave a few minutes early as to swing by and grab this bed.  myself, my brother, and two friends pile in the ole 3+3 and head to Oakland Saturday afternoon..  and since we were goin straight to the show, we didn't want to deal with parking with a trailer... so.......

needless to say we got plenty of cheers in the parking lot of the Monster Jam show..   I think I even heard someone yell: "Get R Done!"

The bed on the 3+3 looks clean to me. I think you guys on the west coast get spoiled with your rust free sheet metal.

  • Family is not an important thing. It's everything.
