NEW GUY FROM NORTHEAST MISSOURI
« on: March 11, 2010, 07:32:23 am »
Hey, just bought another project. Have had a big block 72 monte since 86 and am in a car club but i found this truck I found to be interesting. Its a 77 chevy silverado 2wd shortbed with 454/400 aand 12 bolt posi. It has tons of options including wood grain bed rails. What really made this interesting is it has a bird on the hood like a indy hauler and it has been there since it had 4000 miles for sure. dont know if the dealer put it on there to help sell or what. Needs alot of body work but nothing has been cut up or is gone. drive train is in good condition. Thank you for your time! Joe

Not to disappoint you but that isn't an Indy Hauler decal, that is a Trans Am Screamin Chicken.  The Indy Hauler had the Shield in the middle.

It's a silverbird! (Silverado/ firebird.)
77 c-10 - 77 400 86 700r4 "Emmy"
83 citation - 2.5L Four on the Floor!
88 sierra - reman 350 700r4 "Eleanor"
All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
