Hey all...just thought I'd say hey from Lake of the Ozarks!  Have a 74 swb (among other vehicles) with an 84 front end and bed..kind of a mutt..lol.  In the process of dropping in an 04 5.3 LM7 backed by a th350.  Here's some pics...everyone likes pics!!







and yes..the pulley got cleaned up after this pic!

BTW...this looks like a great forum..glad to be here

soaks up the oil=less money invested in kitty litter.   i like it.

Welcome aboard.  Looks like an awesome project.  I'd love to see some pics of your 280 as well.  Is it a hybrid?  And does anyone else remember when that wasn't such an evil word?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!  I'm still in the middle of the project, but my buddy took it to the exhaust shop today and drove it around a little....I guess he was mighty impressed with the power!!

As far as my 280 goes..I've already pulled the old motor in preparation for the small block I'm getting together...so yes, it will be a hybrid!  Here's some pics of the car and it's previous set-up...

Whoa, that Z is nice!  With those triple side-draught carbs, that engine was almost too purty to pull out...almost.
