My dream for summer is to get a newer (2000 and up) fuel injected Vortec in my truck, and maybe a 4L60e as well. What all would I need? Obviously the complete engine, the computer, and the wiring harness. But what about motor mounts, exhaust headers, fuel pump, etc.? Also, how many days would it probably take? I'd love to gather everything I need, get all the wiring, etc. set up, and then book a few days off work and get it done. The catch is the truck is my daily driver so I'd want to get everything prepped and ready ahead of time so that it will go fast and simple.
