i was looking through my local classifieds and found this.... its a 83 stepside dumptruck for $800, seems kinda contradictory but what i really want to know is how you would fill up the gas tanks, lol.

I had a teacher in high school who had a 90's model chevy with a fleetside dump bed.  All he did was put a longer filler neck on the tank and relocated it in front of the driver's side rear tire.

we actually have tons of old trucks for sale out here, a site called ksl.com has classifieds for everything, its actually one of our news stations and they are very good. its pretty much all we use in utah to buy sell anything used, i even found my truck on there, lol. ive always wondered if other states have something similar... its way bigger than craigslist in utah. if your ever board you should check out the site. sometimes they actually have killer deals on a bunch of stuff, haha.

My buddy has a dump on a 2000 Dodge truck.  The filler is located in the rear wheel well infront of the tire.

$800 is a steal for that truck.  Looks like it has a half way decent body on it.  Come on, buy it.

GM never made them, however it's just a matter of un-bolting the 1/2 ton stuff & bolting in the 3/4 ton stuff, a days job. Springs, Shocks, Brake hoses, Steering, ect. all line up. Lorne

Yeah I know I have a K5 with 3/4 ton axles on it. ;D
I was just pointing it out cause no one else had,and it wasn't even in the add.
To me that would be a selling point that I would advertise.
