When you stated you took out the Mile Marker kit and output shaft, did you mean temporarily or did you put the full time stuff back in?  I've been keeping an eye on your progress.  Congrats and lets hope it's all better now.  Good luck.

What I did was dissasemble the rear of the tcase so I could see what was goint on then I put a hose clamp on that shaft to keep the spacer in place so the needle bearings wouldnt come out and then I ran the truck in reverse.  The mile marker kit had nothing to do with this problem.

I had the same thing happen only I was changing the motor and trannie..I took it to the trannie shop and they put a new pump in it , they said the torque convertor wasnt full and it took out the pump , its fine 600.oo later  haha  was also a th400
