I won't know the price until they finish everything, pull a mold, pull the product and I approve it.

I talked to them Friday, they said I should have something in 2 weeks tops and they would get me an update every week.

The manual mapping of the 5 axis CNC is going to take the most time as they will have to pair 2 halves together.  This should be where I am at in 2 weeks, the time before they invest in mapping for the cutout..

I had a meeting with the vacuum molding company Friday.  They estimated 66 hours of design time and 2 vacuum molds and 2 CNC Trim molds to make the product, which all totaling will cost me $10100.  AND each side must be trimmed and then glued together and will cost me ABOVE my targeted max price for one Pillar pod of $30.  I also found they have all of 20 hours in this whole thing (out of an estimated 66) and they have been working on it for 18 months...  I was slightly disappointed that they spent a little over 1 hour every month to tell me they can't meet the sub $30 pricing for one pod.

I have asked them to see what it would take to Injection mold it now.

I also have my original piece and I am working on completing the Fiberglass mold to produce these in Fiberglass while waiting for an answer.

To same I am perturbed, would be an understatement...

Wow, 18 months and only 20 hours.  I guess they did not take you very seriously did they ?

Actually yes.  I already have a price for the singles and I am waiting for a price on the triples.  Trying to weigh the cost of both.  If I can do the Triple and it is cost effective, I will have singles, dual and triple in one shot.
They will be injection molded also.  Right now the price for the single if I went that round would be around $35.

Stippled leather finish similar to the OE trim pieces?

Any projection on availability timeframe?  I'm ready to order the triple.   :D

yes it will be textured as far as I am aware.  BTW, this don't replace the current A-pillar, it mounts to it..

I am wanting an SLA of the product to verify it is correct.  Still waiting to hear back on the triple.
