Yes, but I have to have both sides of the mold.  One for making fiberglass parts, the other for making vacuum formed parts.  If I get them digitized I can manipulate them and get the plastic triples our quicker as I can CNC the mold from the digital image.

I have to build the mold to pull the piece off of and then check it.
Still plan to make a fiberglass mold also.  No ETA yet, but I am actively working on it.

Any updates on the pillar pods? I'm at the point of really needing one for my build. Any chance of a timeline on them being available?
There are two tools needed, duct tape and WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD 40.

3 companies passed in the last few months, although I almost have the fiberglass mold for the singles done.  If I can't find anyone to make them in plastic I figured I can make them myself in fiberglass.  Should be fun.  Not like I have anything else going on.. LOL

HMMMM maybe.... you can get a certain amount of people that want the order of the concept design, and once they see the numbers and potential to be a bigger product they might bight? Maybe make a simulated order in the shop, advising customers that it is a concept, no money will be taken but they will be on the "first to get these in my truck" list? I don't know just throwin' ideas out there 'cause I REEAAALLLYYYY want some!!!!!

The amount of parts isn't a question.  Most companies have a minimum requirement, I generally tell them I want 1000 of them.  The most I ever got from Polling was from 10 years ago and I still have the list of 150 people, which is nothing to a big company.

I already know it will be a big hit, and I am willing to pay for it, but I am not going to give the idea to some company and have them sell it on their own outside of my company.  You can take ever pillar pod maker and mark them off the list as I have already sent this to them 10 years ago.  some broke the piece I sent them, some never sent it back, some "lost" it...

Slammed, what did you have them making for you?  That is what I am looking for; injection due to the undercuts.  Got any samples, do they do exclusive contracts?
