Brake line dia. question

Getting to my brake line finally. I have 3/16 up front then 1/4
to the rear orginally.

The main line from the cab (middle) back to the diff. was the 1/4 line.
My new hose from that line to the seperator on top of the Diff. accepts 3/16 fitting

Is it possible to go from 3/16(from the front to the middle)
to 1/4 (from the middle to almost the rear)
and then back to 3/16 (to connect to the bracket on the frame,which in turn
goes in the short hose to the seperator on the diff.) for this run

too me what I just wrote makes sence.....LOL Hope u
get the idea.

usually 1/4 runs form the porportion valve to the T that is bolted on the diff then 3/16 to then wheel cylinders and usally 1/4 from then MC to PV for the rear brakes

I know my rear line is 1/4 but want too
know if I can just run 3/16 for everything?

If not I will have to buy a different short rear hose that accepts a 1/4
line. The hose I ordered off ebay (never again!)  accepts only 3/16

Wondering if they make a little adapter finnting to go from 3/16 to 1/4

 Does the old 1/4 fitting at the rear hose fit the new hose? When I replace brake lines I try to use the stock fittings, springs and hold downs. Even if I have to go to the boneyard to get the fittings. My double flare kit gets a lot of use. When I'm done it looks and functions like factory. You don't want to reduce the size it will effect the braking. The 1/4 line feeds two 3/16's lines.
