steering column......... switch

Im having a hard time here with this column, I've got an 88 5 speed with no cruise or tilt. I scored a column free of charge the only thing is that its auto and is rigged for cruise? before I get into this project Im hoping/praying that the parts are interchanable? turn signal switch etc..... am I in over my head?

I bet the ignition lock is givin him fits. use these directions and go to the local parts store and buy a new lock and keys and install them.
