some more ideas!
« on: May 22, 2010, 03:23:12 pm »
Well while I sit and pout for my truck still not running and now in the shop, I got more ideas of course and who knows they may change one more time. Well I decided to maybe paint her white and black out tailights found some head light covers, just looking for the clear side marker lights. I wanted to do rollpans all around and have the exhaust built in, in the rear. Then I thought maybe just leave it original and put some nice chrome side exhaust!!! Has anybody seen our trucks set up with side exhaust? Is it even possible, well its all possible but how practical and is it too much work for hassel? I like em on them old vettes but would it even look good on a truck. Anyways my next IN OVER MY HEAD idea how hard would it be to make a convertable? I've seen the full fiberglass body parts and im far from being a pro and doing it myself but a pro could make it happen or maybe just a sunroof will do. Heck I even thought of T-Tops.
Oh well I'll just wait for it to start running first

Soft convertable top

or hard top ( My preference)

If Chris can get them, that'd be the way to go.

Once again, remember this site here for all your parts. If you dont see it in the catalog, pm Captkaos, if he doesnt have it, he can find it. He can keep you from wasting hours searching for something as well

IMO it sounds good but would look better if it was dropped and staggered more like a muscle car!!!
At least I got an idea now!!!
