How should I re-route the tail pipes? Pics included

I will be installing a flip kit and lowering shackles along with a bolt in c-notch this week on my 87 silverado. As you can see in the pictures, the tailpipes are not going to allow for any clearance above the axle tubes.

I actually really like how the setup is now, with the pipes exiting behind the tires at 90 degrees. I was thinking cutting where the tubes would make contact, and then after the lowering kit is completed, have an exhaust shop adapt back to the tailpipes that are there, but obviously higher up above the axle tubes. I know the pictures make the piping look extremely rusty, but it's actually not that bad. Later on down the road, I will have the entire exhaust replaced, manifolds back, but for now, there are no exhaust leaks, pin holes, it's solid.

Also, I guess I could just cut after the mufflers, and dump them with turndowns, but I really don't want drone and more importantly, exhaust fumes in the cab. The mufflers are Dynomax Super Turbos. Maybe drone won't be as bad as I think.

What are your thoughts? Also, I KNOW the frame looks awful, thin in some areas and rusty, don't worry, I am tackling that.

An Exhaust shop should be able to run them over for you.
