87 Chev Full Restoration

I have a 87 chev that i had for 11 years now and decided to do a full frame off restoration,  i will post pics as i go.

Here is what i started with,

87 chev 1/2 ton
1 ton frame from military truck
92 surburban front clip
12 bolt read with lock right locker
10 bolt corp in front with a auburn limited slip
350 target master
208 transfer case
th 350 auto
6" skyjacker lift
36" swamper radials

Frame is being sent to get sand blasted and opoxy painted.

The old guy that had the truck before me decided to put a plow..  i took all that out

Poxy painted all parts as they are put back together, updated to a gear to gear case, and got a 8" BDS suspension lift from http://www.jansam.ca/

nice progress. Im doing the same to my 86. you seem to be going alot faster than I am. lol Im hung up on the cab right now. I'll have to update my thread here soon. Good luck! Cant wait to see more  ;D

Thanks,   yeah i will look at your progress also,  i started this about 6 weeks ago... I'm going to start working on the body soon..

I have a 350 vortec that i have to get the heads machined to have bigger springs put into... so i can run a bigger cam.
