I watched it and it is so true. It is terrible down here. The fishing, shrimping, crabing and tourism industry is ruined and now the government is going to put around 10,000 more people out of work with the deep water drilling moratorium.

I used to live in the Panhandle(navarre, destin, PCB, pensacola) and you are right it's awful.

Yeah, I spent the majority of my life right near Gulf Shores. Had many, many good times down there. My Brother in Law told me there is oil going into Perdido Bay now. Bad....

They found part of what the rig that failed all the way over in Panama City Bay, I had heard on the news this morning.

When that thing blew it just came all of a sudden. Those poor hands on the drill floor never had a chance.i feel really bad for their families. The Gulf, as big as it looks on the map is really small in the sense that you can go on a location and not know anyone there. After you talk to the guys for a while there are always one or two people you both know.
