The picture shown in your post is what's called a tide line. It's caused by fresh and salt water interfacing and moving back and forth. If it was a slick it woud not have the little frothy edge that you see in the pic. The starnge thing is, the way the story goes down here is, the Coast Guard called an oil copmpany and told them they had a spill in the West Delta area of the Gulf. That does own a platform in that area. They scrambled and got the boom and clean up gear mobilized and then later found out it wasn't from their well. They agreed to pay for tghe cleanup until they can find out who caused it. No one knows yet.
