just thought of something to test.
think of it like this

this being your truck
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
Left side outer/left side inner[ GRILLE ]right side inner/ right side outer

OK take the right side inner and switch it with the left side inner and see if the fast blink switches side. if not then switch the right side outer with left side outer. if still no change then you have a socket/wire problem

Yep, it's a socket problem. I saw that it was a little boogered up, so I replaced it and that was my issue. Thanks very much for the help, guys
