Very excited finally got the 3 inch longer driveshaft we needed, guy had a huge pile of them like 15 foot long by 4 foot tall of nothing but DS's, tons of transmissions, bellhousings, flywheels, engines, tires, wheels, tons of rallys for trucks. I went like 50 feet into this place and saw 5-6 chevy trucks, short beds, 4x4 and maybe a 2wd or two, a 77 bandit trans am, some old ford trucks, a 73-80 wrecker, monte carlo 80's model. This place is huge, I only seen like a 32th of the place or something. I been looking for the guys number or location for years, went there about 10 years ago, never knew the name or address, now I know the guy's name and number and exactly how to get there. I bet he must have at least like 5-10 thoussand vehicles it's huge. I would post a pic but don't know how to do one from google earth, I didn't have my camera. I may be going back soon for a monte carlo heater box, and if so the camera is coming with me. he has tons of old stuff and tons of new. I also seen a 67-72 truck, and another front clip same years.

I think his prices are a bit high, he quoted $300 for a 3.42-4.10 posi drum to drum pulled ready to go. He also told me $250 for a th350 long or short lockup or not, and gives ya some time to check it out and make sure it works, if not bring it back as long as you don't like work on the internals.

I'm freakin excited as crap, would love a chance to go back and look at EVERYTHING!!!!!!! I bet it'd take a full day or more to see it all. Tons of buildings with parts piled up, probably a dozen or two big buildings with parts.

you found the end of a rainbow!  Chevy heaven....well, West Va is "almost heaven" as John Denver once sang--must be close enough to the KY border.  Speaking of...how far are you from the Hatfield McCoy trail system....I love that place

the trails are all around me, I can go in any direction and find them. I rode them many times before they came in and made it a pay thing which IMO and alot of natives is BS. Alot of the trails were made by use riders and without us they'd be doing it themselves now they charge to ride. Although it is cheap for wv residents like $25 a year.

That place is awesome, it was like 45 minutes or less from me to the chevy heaven, I'll have to see the mileage if I can figure it out on the maps.

consider yourself lucky to be so close to all those ATV trails.  It's a 5 hr drive for us to come up there--around Welch and Gilbert and Northfork.  Haven't done the other areas yet.  I think the annual pass for me is like $50, but, adding the campground/hotel and gas and time off to get there, we easily sink a few hundred bucks on each trip.

I got pics lol, figured out google earth had a save image thing LOL...

You go in where the car icon is, and go down to the first u that goes back left, that's where I went, and to the building above his name is where the driveshaft pile was, pretty sure.. I never even made it to the other pic or the rest of the first.

it's on highway 292 I forget which direction, but coming from my place i turn onto the nolan toll bridge, make a right at the end of it, then make the first right and go 5 miles and there it is. Or you can look up william marcum in the phone book. it's 606-237 something.
