Pic of the back of the cab, we had cut out a very large section from about halfway down the b pillar and about a third of the back wall off of another cab and welded it in because the bed had come up and hit the cab in a previous accident...

This is a fender that's in the middle of being wet sanded but it is painted the color gray that the rest of my truck will be. It also shows I where I used chassis saver on the frame.

This is a pic of the engine bay sort of, the air cleaner will be replaced, as soon as it done being painted. I just didn't want to get any over spray on it. Also the firewall will get painted, and I have a black 3 spoke grant steering wheel to replace the factory one.

good progress, looks pretty good but I aint a fan of the 88-98 beds on 73-87's. I think they fit and look better on an 88-98 or maybe the 67-72's they fit and lines go well on the older trucks.

Lots of work. Almost there.
I don't think that i have ever seen 88-98 bed on a 80's chevy before. I have seen lots on the 67-72 style some look good some not so good. i will have to wait and see what it looks like on your truck. Not sure I would like it for mine though.

wow that truck is a real hodge podge of parts, an 81-87 front bumper on a 73-80 front clip and an 88-98 stepper bed.

I love my Grant 3 spoke wheel. I once got a ticket because I never hooked up the horn though.
With that gray, what are you going to go with for bumpers, mirrors, etc. (chrome, black, body color?)

Front bumper will be painted. Also as for mirrors, one big plus is I have access to somebody who can powdercoat in my family. I will probably get some little peep mirrors the ones that clamp around the edge of the door since they don't require you to drill holes. Also I have the one peice window kit installed even though I dont have any pics of it because the doors are in the middle of getting primed.
