That made me mad getting one and it made me mad when my sig got edited by someone other then me, because it said looking for a longer driveshaft. You know I figured what the heck, there may be members out there who can't afford it either and have one or know someone who does and can help me out. I know most ppl don't pay much attention to sigs but still.

I'm sorry I incorrectly said that you posted something for sale, but I agree that wasn't the important part.  Its the quote above.  Expressing your anger toward the admin.'s and questioning their judgement is something for a one on one.  Its degrading to them (insulting) to air this for all to see.  I certainly mean no disrespect to you by my view, I don't have a bone in this dog fight.  I'm just saying that if I was the admin. and you said that about my actions I would feel insulted too.  Did I miss something, did you not say the above in a post for everyone to see?

yes that was on the forum but how does that insult someone by me saying it made me mad getting a violation a long time ago for posting about swapping hoods?

They take that as in insult? if so OMG that's wayy too sensitive and too much reading into it.

Mostly by me being made mad, they could have sent me a pm telling me about it and I would have changed it.

If they are going to be that way about it I'll just not type a single letter over there if they are that sensitive, to me insulted someone would be me saying they are dumb, or buttholes or calling them fees nazi's like the other guy.

Irish, I'd be glad to trailer yours, however, my sub is undergoing new motor mount replacements at the moment.  I am a grease monkey right now.  It is tough to change out motor mounts w/ the engine still in.  I worked on it after work for two hours and just got the right side mount out.  reaching those dang bolts is tough on a 4x4, working around the axle and jacking up the engine enough to reach the top bolts, working between the exhaust manifold and the frame. whew. Tomorrow, installation of at least the right side, hopefully removal of drivers's side, which should be easier.
That mount was wasted!  No more clunking, shaking engine when I replace both and trans mount.  She'll be good for another 200,000 miles.

I say scrap Disneyland and let's go to Disneyworld....it's closer and on the Right coast.

Hey Andy, were you able to find any motor mounts made in USA?  I found some made in China and some made in India.  I finally put my old ones back in, but haven't got the engine in yet.  If you could point me towards something decent, I'd be all over them.  It's been a real job trying to find some parts that are Made in USA.

Swim's, email liz, if you are nice in your email and not pissed off she will find the problem and fix it or tell you what you did.  Like here, everything is not deleted, it is just moved.

Oh, how I wish.  The first pair came from India.  They were the wrong ones. Took them back to AutoZoon.  Went to Napa, got the ones for a 86 pickup....they were the ones for my 91 sub--I don't understand that one. They were made in China...$11.00 a piece.  I got the right side done and finished tonight.  Man, I hate doing that.  That is a tough job.  Lots of crow bar prying up, down, left and right to get all the bolts to line up. The left side tomorrow will be much easier...no differential hogs head to work around on that side and no bump stop bracket above a starter on the left side.  Tomorrow is friday, gonna have a 6 pack on ice next to the sub and finish the job.  I might put it on upside down if I drink too many, but oh well, it'll be done.

Motor mounts in place!  Even replaced the trans mount while i was a greasy monkey under the sub.  Life is good.  It's funny how much higher the engine sits.  I didn't realize it before, but the exhaust manifold was only an inch or so off the frame, now she sits where she should.  No more clunks when putting her in gear or accelerating hard from a stop. She's tight now.  The trans mount was toast too.  Glad i did that.   Now, let's get the trailer ready to haul some trucks to disneyworld!
