Heres the scoop on my truck nowadays ;D
I got my melted wire sorted out. I ended up putting in a new...Headlamp switch, Relay kit, and Hella H4's in.

Since i had my gauges and dash off. I got a really good look at what was up behind the dash and i didnt like what i saw. There was a thick layer of dust/sand and my firewall insulation was crumbling. I got all that cleaned up and decided to take my a/c unit off and clean it out. I ended up sanding down the firewall and floor pannels. I painted em with the POR15 anti rust paint. After i got the cab cleaned up i insulated it with a foam/aluminum matting. Then i installed a Vinyl floor

I also got my new bezel and AutoMeter Traditional Chrom gauges in...once I saw all that in there my old beat to heck steering wheel just didnt look good in there. I ended up getting a nice one and slapping that on there.

I have the interior about where i want it. next im gonna get a stereo system. Then im gonna paint the frame and engine bay with some POR15 and a layer of black over it to make it look a little neater and protect it from rust. After I get her protected from rust and looking pretty ill start messing with the engine >8D

Finally!!! no more rear seal leak on my tranny. My brother is a logger so he has alot of free time in the winter and hes been helping me work on my truck. We crawled under it expecting to replace a rear seal in my transmission and ended up needing to get a longer driveline made....lol. It was a pain but I ended up finding out some interesting stuff about my truck like I have a 74' TH375 outta a chevy wagon..not a 400 -.- It turned out my stubby driveline was just long enough to go through the rear seal but not into the bushing behind it.

Hey guys ;D Finally got my door sill plates in. Im pretty satisfied with the look of it. I couldnt get the vinyl to lay down quite right on the floors contours but it beats the heck out of the shiny insulation look lol

Heres the new kick panels I got. Im waiting until I get my new radio in the mail this thursday to bolt in the kick panels so theyre just sitting against the wall for now.

Thats where its at as of now :)

Well I bought mine from a truck prats website that it wont let me list on here..I know Chris here makes kick panels also so you could check those out. Im not sure if the e brakes gonna clear the speaker. I think it will by a hair but i cant say for sure cause they arent bolted in yet. Tomarrow ill check it out better and get back to u on it.

Guitar1989 that truck is looking "SWEET"  :o,  it is funny how you start something small on these trucks and before you know it you have rebuilt the whole truck.  Keep up the great work..

ha ha yeah everything Ive done to it has led into something else :P I plan on cleaning it up inside and out though anyways so its all been fun ;D I still have alot of plans for it. So far Ive really only scratched the surface. I figured id start in the cab so I can get something done while im learning about my 350. The things Id really like to get done are......
1. finish the interior
2. Paint the chassis black
3. clean up the engine bay
4. put in a wood panel bed
5. replace all the wiring
6. build a 383 :)
im sure its gonna be years before I get my 383 in there cause I dont have the cash or knowledge to build one yet

Really nice work!  Do you have a bigger or close up pic of the sill plates?  They're aftermarket, right?

Actually that doesn't look at all bad, If I ever find time I want to strip the 77 k10 I picked up a week ago, you have a great starting point.
