How to remove window parts
« on: August 06, 2010, 08:21:37 pm »
Hey just trying to figure out how to get the whole window assembly out of door. I have the window it self out, but not sure how to get the arm and everything out as well. Any advice?

If everything is unbolted and free, if I remember, the scissors need to be almost flat. Then everything will come out the large hole.

With mine I know it seamed like everything had to line up perfect for it to come out. Had to have the regulator like said almost flat and then slide it out of its tracks and slide it out the hole

I removed regulator and pulled thru. Its pain but I figured it out, got my old manual crank out of old door and into new door with window and all. Track is beat up and bracket on bottom of window is rusting off but for now I just need the window up to keep my interior work clean from the weather. Thanks for replys guys

Anyone know where I can buy the bracket that is on the bottom of the window? Its rusting and falling off the window and needs to be replaced. Only finding moldings and main tracks, not this bracket.

If you are talking about the piece that the glass sets in I only know of getting it with a new glass.

So even though my "new" door had glass in it and the bracket on the bottom of the window is rusted and braking off, I will still need to buy new glass?

As far as I know, best to just find a glass without that rusting.
