DESPERATE NEED OF HELP in figuring out A/C brackets

Got a couple brackets for a Sanden 508 air conditioning compressor and I cannot figure out how they attach to the engine.
I do no have power steering brackets yet, and that may be the key to this equation, but maybe ya'll are familiar with this style of bracket.
Also, I do not even know if I have all the brackets that go to this compressor. I got these brackets for free from a friend and did not come with installation instructions or anything of that nature or even the guarantee that everything needed is there (hopefully it is).
Here are some pictures of the brackets, compressor, power steering reservoir/pump, and engine. Maybe ya'll can make sense of it?
Thanks!!
Well, I uploaded them to Photobucket. They're too big to attach to the thread.

Here's some pics of mine. Might help, might not. Hope it does though.
I had to alter this bracket to accommodate my Hooker Headers.
Then I made this one to stiffen things back up a bit.
Some misc other pics of them;

Thanks for the image tip, Irish_Alley. I knew about it, but thought (don't know why, now) they would be too big still. People post pictures that way all the time. Duh! Stupid me! Yeah, I didn't realize about the Bud and Coor's Light cases in the shot until I uploaded the pictures from phone to PC. lol The past few months, I've stayed pretty well beer'd up.
Psycho71, I think I love you. My brackets are a tiny bit different, but I think I figured out how they go now with HUGE help of your pictures. Just been looking at it from the wrong way this whole time. Amazing what a little nudge in the right direction'll do. I, too, had to modify the bracket that goes alongside the exhaust header. Got a start on it today, and will probably finish up tomorrow. It looks promising that with a little bit of modifying and a little TLC, it'll work. Then it'll just be cleaning up some brackets and bolts and getting some paint on them and measuring up the pulleys for some fan belts and I think the engine'll be ready to go in!
Thanks so much!!

Glad it helped. I had to do a bit of head scratching on mine too.
One tip; Mount the compressor with the lines coming out of the top, not like I have mine with the lines coming off the side. Mine pumped all the oil out of the compressor and wiped it out in a couple of weeks the way it is in the pics. I was told as long as the lines were above 90 degrees it would be fine. Mine was slightly above 90 degrees in the pics, and still wiped it out. Since mounting it in the upright position, everything works great.
I added the bracket I made because I cut the second bolt provision plumb off of mine, had to for the headers. When I did, the compressor just wasn't secure enough for me, so i used a piece of flat steel I had laying around and some extra spacers that I didn't use, and created the "stiffener" bracket.
I forget what length belt I ended up with, but it's a long sucker.
Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up. I have the compressor where my lines are exactly where yours are. Better change that! Speaking of lines, since the stock compressor was the compact round kind, the lines are different for the Sanden. Did you buy all your stuff as a kit or are you piecing things together like I am? Haha I'm thinking that maybe I can go through all the lines at the auto. store and find some that'll work since these longer style compressors came on these pick-ups at one point. Basically, going to need female ends for the compressor side and for the accumulator side. I've heard of people going to the "local A/C shop" and having some custom made. Well, where I live, a lot of the "just go to the local such-and-such" and get one doesn't work for me. However, there is a place in town that makes hydraulic hoses and air lines that may be able to do some air conditioning lines, but I bet that the ends'll have to be ordered.
I see now that your bracket that went across the exhaust header was nearly exactly like mine, the way you're describing it. Took a minute to figure out that that was the one that you modified and that that's what you did to it was eliminate that second bolt hole. I had to notch that same bracket to go around the #1 cylinder exhaust header pipe and grind around the bolt holes to slim them down some. Then had to run to the store to get some more of those spacer/shim things that the store called "washers", beleive it or not. That's all I got to before supper time and then I couldn't get myself back out in the heat from the A/C. Haha I will take some pictures to show you what I wound up doing to mine to make it work. Although, there is still some stuff I have to do to make it work. lol
Thanks again!

Yep, I bought all mine as a kit, so all the fittings I needed were included. I routed my hoses a lot differently than most (I'm known to be a bit weird that way at times), so i had to buy a lot of hose. My local Napa store had the hose and crimped all the fittings on for me. I took the hose home, cut it too length, then used masking tape to tape the fittings on where I wanted them. Then they just stuck them in the press and crimped them for me. I can see where going from the rotary compressor to the sanden will take a bit of adapting. Sorry, but no advice/experience there.
Just curious....Why didn't you put another rotary compressor on it?

Ah, Napa. I tend to forget about Napa. We have one in town (last time I checked). I'm never on that side of town and I've only been there a few times and only because a friend's boss' company had an account there and we bought something there for his Suburban we did an engine swap on. I go to Advance Auto Parts myself because it is not too far away from home and the service and people there are great compared to a couple other places in town.
Changed to the non-rotary because I couldn't find any of those that were chrome. lol Or else I would have just gone with one of those for the sake of being waaay easier. So, no special preference to the long ones really (that's not what she said) or anything like that.
Will probably tinker with it some more a little later when I get bored of the PC and TV.
