« on: August 17, 2010, 09:23:32 am »
trying to put together my list of parts needed to rebuild the suspension. Is the shackle bushings the same as the leaf spring bushings? Thanks

Nope. There will be a bushing at each end of the leaf, and there is 1 in one end of the shackle.

sorry Grim 82. I wasn't clear. what I mean is are the bushings the same type for the leaf springs and the shackle where it mounts to the hanger.

You can buy the kits that include all 6 for the rears or buy individually, but they list different diameter bushings so you will want to measure yours. If by type you mean material composition, yes, to my knowledge they are made with the same options as leaf spring bushings. rubber, poly, etc..
