94 2wd lift
« on: August 23, 2010, 04:03:13 am »
I don’t want to lift my 94 that much since its only 2wd but I been wanting to put new coils and shocks on it for a while but when I just looked at rough country’s site this is what I found
The 4" is cheaper than a 2'"
2" for 335.95
Front: Lifted coil springs and ball joint spacers

Rear: U-bolts, lift blocks, and hardware.

Shocks: Includes (4) RC Hydro 8000 series shocks.

and the 4" for 299.95
Front: Lift spindles.

Rear: Optional: 2" rear blocks & u-bolts.

Shocks: Optional: (4) Hydro 8000 shocks.

Now what would make a better ride lifted coils or the spindle lift?

Spindle lift would ride the same unless you changed out the shocks.

Just go bigger and get the Fabtech 7.5 in lift, my buddy had it and it rode very well. Ran 35's.

Don't want to go to high its a DD and just want it to be about the height of a stock 4x4 and I need new springs up front so trying to kill two birds

I know, I was kidding. I would say just get the springs, since you need them anyways. If you want it a bit taller, then add spindles.

As for the ride, it will be a little firmer, but you could get new stock springs and get the spindles.

Right now the front is sitting low and the rear only has 3 leafs so I want to lift the front to match the rear and I'm thinking that a 2" might just give me more like 4 due to the front being so low
