New From Colorado
« on: August 31, 2010, 12:09:49 pm »
Hellow all from Colorado. Name here is George and recently came across a 82 Sierra. Previous owner was moving in the right direction, and it looked like the project could be carried on. It has a 305 w/ THM 350C. Matching Vin's on both. Looks like the Eng may have been recently rebuilt. Comes with a Edlebr Preformer intake and 650 CFM w/ headers. One could tell it was well taken care of for a lot of years, even though it does show some wear. Got the TCC system straightened out, it was stayin locked up all the time. Gonna adjust the modulator next, to try and get the TCC to stay locked up with a little more pedal. I do like the down shifts with light pedal apply, it's just a little too light. Does not look like the govenor cover has been off, so I'm hoping it's the adjustable modulator. This appears to be a great Truck forum, so I decided to jump on board.
