Clear coat

The paint on the passenger side has the clear coat coming through.I have been told that a person can wet sand the clear coat off and re cover it with new clear coat.Is this possible and how is it done.Thanks

If the clear is worn through or peeling it needs to be refinish. It may look shiny after wet sanding, and re clearing, but it will not look like it should.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

clear coat is very easy to do yourself with the right spray gun wet sand with 600 grit paper to break the surface just tape up your windows and areas you dont wont to be hit with clear go about a foot past the bad spot and feather your clear coat into it after 3 coats wet sand with 1200 grit and buff and you should have a good lookin finish hope this helps....
