Cluster with aftermarket wiring harness

Just wondering, I threw out my busted cluster a long time ago.... Now I put in a ez kit and dont have a cluster or a factory plug in, also I dont know which wire goes where on the cluster. Anyway, I have about $400 to spend on my cluster/gauges. Was wondering if you could put the factory cluster in from another year (mines a 75) and wire it up... Thanks

with a new harness, you could put in anything, but I would avoid the pre - 75 clusters due to Amp gauges.
