Always a day lot and a dollar short!  No problems though.  Looking forward to gettin into it.  I just can"t decide what I want to do in place of this old stock 350.

400... When I got my new cam installed, I have 4 bent pushrods, and one bad lifter. Cam was worn, but fine. Mind you, these where new pushrods and lifters when I put my motor in and had about 300 miles on them. My mechanic told me he couldn't believe how well it ran like that!

Since I'm gonna be ditching this old 2 piece rear main, I want to get something possibly turn key or at least to where I can add intake and my carb.  What have some of you guys done?  I've got a fairly good budget I can play with.  Also, now would probably be the best time to do the 700R4 swap, I guess.  Right?  So many decisions.......

Update! Update! Update!   I just picked up a 396 big block out of a 67 Chevelle SS.  I can't wait to do the big Block Swap!  It has a set of Hedman's with it as well as a 350 tranny.  Since this is going into a 2wd 1/2 ton, do I need to beef up the front suspension at all?  I will be needing any helpful tips from those who have done this sort of thing.  i am excited!

Nah, just get it aligned and re-aim your headlights. You'll like the stance. Hardest part to the swap is the power steering bracket.

Here's whats gonna be going in.  396 BB Chevy.  Gonna either do a serp system or cog pulley system.  Will post up as progress goes.  Prolly gonna start a new thread.
