Lift points for 1973 Chevy K10

 I may have to climb out the window or else winch the truck into position.   

It can get tight.  I just pull the truck up to the lift, put it in neutral (with the motor off), get out and push the truck into place. If you are always working on the same vehicles try marking a spot on the floor where the tires are once you have it in the right spot. This will cut down on set up time next time around.

How much of a pitch do you have? My floor is pitched and lifts are supposed to be shimmed to level the columns. If it's that severe make some steel pieces to fit under the column. BTW how thick is the floor and what mix did you use?

I really don't know what the slope is; I just know that I put one of the shims under the base of the column and it was not nearly enough.  The floor is 6" thick and is 3000psi.
