wipers mechanicals replaced???
« on: October 17, 2010, 02:16:13 am »
does anyone know how hard it would be to pull out all the wiper mechanicals from an newer or similar in year truck and replace mine with it?  I have a 79 chevy 4x4.  Any ideas of what to do?  it is about to weather and I need to make sure the wipers work on the fast level and not only slow.

Sounds like your switch might be bad. If that’s all your trying to fix I would replace the switch and see what happens

I know this doesn't exactly addreess your specififc probblem, but, my wipers were really slow when I bought my truck. I pulled the cowl cover and oiled everything that moved and that made agreat improvment.
