full time 4x4 axles and gas millege

What is the loss of gas millege difference if i ran my truck with full time 4x4 axels instead of my manual locks that are stock with a 4 speed?

Probably 1-3 mpg? Dunno, but why would you? You'll save $ in the long run if you convert it to part time, and less wear and tear.

I just didnt know what was best to do for my truck.  I guess i will leave it to manual 4x4.   thanks.

better to keep them manual. tune up is always important, gearing will help as well.

Didn't know they made full time hubs. Just auto and manual. The autos only lock up when the axle shaft is turning from What I understand. If you have a full time transfer case and auto hubs then yes they will lock up best thing for that is to put a part time kit in so like said les wear on parts less turning of parts and will save more gas. Even if your hubs are full time you wont see any increase in mpgs due to the transmission is all ready turning the drive shaft then the ring and pinion and one axle shaft the tire would be turning all ready due to the rear pushing the truck in motion

Just my personal experience but I have run a couple trucks hubs locked all winter long and the mileage drop was very small, about a half a mile to the gallon. 

In my full time blazer it got 10 mpg before I converted the 203 and it got 10 mpg after I converted it to part time and put hubs on it. 

Same thing with a buddys Dodge pickup, he was told expect 2 -3 mpg better fuel mileage and realized less than 1 after we converted his truck. 

All these trucks had good running motors and the rest of the drivetrain in good shape
