How to remove this cover

Guys how does this cover over the blower motor come off

Looks like you have to remove everything, so start with the inner fender. There will probably be bolts/screws on the other side of the firewall as well.

OH  darn   I new you where going to say that . Do you guys think that a heater ac box would fit from another year ? so that I could get rid of that cover . it also has holes from a fuel filter on the corner

i like the brakeline standoffs...mine were a b!t@h to get off the last time i worked on them and that would have made it a snap to get loose. what year and model is that? i need to start combing the scrapyards looking for some.

Its a 84 It had a diesel motor. It has a gas motor now . It has the silverodo trim package stuff on it

If you try to remove it, it will just break away. I had it on my 84 diesel and it just fell apart, You'll find everything is normal under it.

That covering is only on diesels. You could just cut it off. It was to keep the racket from the 6.2s out of the cab area.

That covering is only on diesels. You could just cut it off. It was to keep the racket from the 6.2s out of the cab area.

I had seen some of those covers in junkyards...  always assumed they were for heat or something.
