Power window replacement

I've looked at the technical article on replacing a power window motor.  It's just not clear enough for me to get started.  Also, did a regular search and have looked elsewhere, too, but to no avail.

Is there any kind of detailed list of what needs to be done and in what order?  These pictures help to see what everything looks like, but it doesn't say what exactly needs to be done.  http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/interior/winmotor.htm

Does ALL that stuff need to come out of the truck, window and all?  Does some of it come out the top (where the glass comes in and out) and some out of the factory cut-out hole in the door?  Also, the windows are tinted.  What is the possibility that the motors on either side can be replaced without scratching the piss out of the tint?

The glass comes out of the top of the door....
The regulator and motor comes out of the hole  (a square hole) at the top rear of door.

Got both motors replaced yesterday.  They were WAY easier than what it sounded/looked like.  Didn't have to remove the glass, just held it up with a rubber stop and some painter's tape.  Was relatively simple.  Got all the old, paste-like grease out of the tracks and wheels that I could and put in all new.  There were still a couple of the little wheels that didn't really want to spin that well, but the windows on both sides go up and down just fine and with plenty of speed.

Reckon the only problem with the windows now is that from the passenger side switch, the window will only go down and not up.  Put a brand new switch in its place and still the same story -only down and not up.  This has been a problem for a couple years now, however, not since I did the motor.  It wasn't me!
