I just ordered some 2" Ground Force drop shackles and I want to remove the "overload" spring on my 8 leaf HD spring pack at the same time that I do this installation but I'm not sure which one it is. Is it the one at the top (closer to the bed) or bottom of the spring pack? Is this as simple as it looks? Jack the truck up enough to remove any tension on the spring pack, unbolt the rear shackle, loosen the u bolts, remove overload spring, tighten u bolts, notch bed supports, install new shackles and I'm done?
