New from Iowa
« on: December 18, 2010, 05:50:56 am »
Hey guys, new to this forum but definitely not the chevy world.  My dad was a mechanic in a gm dealership from 77-87, and been a motorhead all his life.  I grew up in the racing/offroading scene, I usually trouble shoot all my problems by my ol man, but I figured it doesnt hurt to have soem extra advice.  I have a 87 shortbed, 6" lift, 38" super swamper tsl radials, sbc 350.  Ive owned the truck for about a year now, I love it.  I dont think i could ever part with it.  I do alot of offroading (not just playin in the mud) and i have not had any issues with my mobility other than the big truck vs little trail dilemmas.  I joined in search of some outside advice for whatever problems I might run into.  Thanks and I look forward to chatting with all you guys in the forums!
My other toy is a 747
