79 k10 complete doghouse swap to 83

I am swapping the front end of my 79 K10 to a complete doghouse off of an 83.  Question is I know everything will fit, but I like the 79 grill and headlights.    can I use the 79 grill and headlights with the 83 fenders/hood and core support?   Thanks for any help guys.

There are several threads on here about the swap from pre 80 to 81+ or the other way around. I suggest reading them. As for the headlights, if you want round lights, you will need the 73-79 nose, you can not miss match parts. It must be swapped as a whole unit. Keep in mind also that it is a "mostly" bolt on swap, some mods need to be made, but are not too bad to do.
And just my opinion, best looking trucks were the 79 and older with 73-74 being the best. But that is just my opinion. Make your truck your own.

ok I didnt think it would work but had to ask.  Thanks for the help guys.   The swap will be no problem for me I already know there will be some minor modifications that need to be made.   my 79 only has one bad fender but I got the 83 rust free doghouse for 100 bucks couldnt pass it up.
