85 c20 fuel problems

Replaced the mechanical pump, no fuel...possibility that the pushrod is bad...cam has a bad lobe??  Any suggestions I'm about to put a stick of dynamite up the tailpipe!

Is this a new symptom?  Did you verify gas is getting TO the pump?

Pull your pump off and make sure that the push rod is in correctly. If it drops down inside the block, the pump will go on but it won't pump. I usually put as dab of grease on the end to hold it in place while I put the pump back on.

well....someone decided they needed my gas more than i....filled the tank and presto...i'll save the dynamite for fishing now  ;D

With gas prices on the rise more people will "need" your gas. Buy a locking gas cap if you don't already have one.
