97 4x4 dually???

looking at a 97 3500 dually with 454 auto 4x4 with 9ft dump box and snow plow. has 71,000 miles and is average cond. any opinions on these types of trucks as far as drive trains.

Should have a 4L80e trans which is one of the best auto transmissions for plowing or towing. Personally I would have rather had a 6.5 Diesel and a NV4500 but to each his own. That is a different body style by the way.

I dont know anything about snow plows being from FL, but a dump bed is about the greatest thing next to sliced bread when you're having to take loads of construction trash or w.e. to the dump on a weekly basis.
