summit carb and intake

Anyone ever ram a summit carb and intake?  I was looking at one of their kits, didnt seem like to bad a deal.  The carb looks like a holly.  Any reviews?

I've never run their intake. Ran one of their carbs for awhile. Decent enough. It is a holley style carb. A 4010 model style to be exact. Which was based off the Autolite 4100. You really do need to run their 1/4" or 3/16" gasket underneath it though. You may even need some kind of heat blocker. It boils fuel easy.

What kind of transmission do you have? You may need to get the throttle corrector for 700r4. And a lot of times their intakes are just a copy of a proven design.

I have a 700R4, can you point me out the throttle corrector? I've always ran a th350 so I've never had to have one.

My squarebore 600 Holley is a 0-80457S, and the brackets you need to make that work with the 700r4 are Holley PN 20-95, and 20-121. Not sure if that carb would be the same though, so make sure they offer the parts for that particular Summit/Holley model before you pull the trigger on that deal. It is of vital importance to have the right brackets to keep yours trans alive. It looks like a pretty good deal.

Thanks, i found the right one for that carb.  I talked to summit tech support and he said the price for the kit was the exact same price for each independent piece.  He said if I was not satisfied with the carb I could return it for an exchange or refund.  I am going to order it and see how good it is.

Let us know what you think of it.
You'll probably need both brackets; the corrector that goes on the carb and the one that holds the throttle and TV cables.

Yep, I will need both of them.  It will be a few weeks, but I will write up a review for it out of box, then update it after I get some miles on it.
