Hello from Indiana
« on: February 13, 2011, 11:32:12 am »
I recently purchased a 1976 C20 Scotsdale with Bonanza badges on it.  From the vin it shows it has a 350 4 barrel in it. I got it from the son of the original owner.  Its in pretty decent shape, it was sitting for a few years, but only has 70k on the odometer.  It looks like there are a lot of passionate owners on here and hopefully they will help me when I run into issues. Here is a pic of the beast

Welcome neighbor from the NW corner of Indiana.  She is a beauty but unless you are really fond of those running boards, ditch em and collect the aluminum scrap price.  Your truck will rust out sooner with them on.

Thanks for the info., yeah I'm not real fond of the running boards.  The only rust I have seen so far is in the lower part of the front quater panels, about the size of a silver dollar. I probably will also replace the dumbo mirrors with a different style.

Welcome. I've always liked that paint scheme.
