32x11.5x15 on a 15x10?
« on: February 25, 2011, 03:10:49 pm »
Anyone have a pic or experience running a 11.50 tire on a 10 inch wheel. Currently no lift on my rig but after lift going to run at least a 12.50. Need to replace wheels now but can't do lift wheels and tires all at once. Unfortunately not made of money. If I buy 15x8 wheels now then when I do the lift going to have to buy 15x10s.

they look terrible, look as though your trying to make a drift car, stretching tires to fit wide rims, a guy did that with his jeep in high school.  And they have worse traction because they have to be super inflated to keep the bead seated.  Stick with 8" wheels and get the bigger tires and lift at the same time. 12.5s fit great on 8 in rims.

i wouldnt agree with with that statement, but before i get anybody mad this is totaly my thought and my thoughts only. Everybody has what they like and dislike. I have a truck with 35' and a 6" lift and 10" rims. I had them on the 8" before and they look like garbage. I have had many comments on how nice of a stance the truck has with the look of the tires. Check you tube for lifted trucks with different tire size and you can make up your own mind. maybe you will agree with 76 3+3 or maybe you will agree with me. But to me 10" or nothing!

I'm only looking at running a 35 12.5 15 after lift, an 8 inch wheel will do the trick? I have never run a 35. Its always been stock size or a 37 - bigger. My Suburban which I am inquiring about will have a modest lift and run nothing bigger than a 35.

I would wait and keep saving money until you can do it right the first time...

I have 33x12.5x15 on 15x10 wheels and it looks fine and never had a bead pop off even at 10 psi.

Well I have 37.5 12 16.5 on 12 16.5 and I had my bead pop at less than 20psi so shop in there right mind will put a tire that’s smaller on a rim that’s wider
.
Now I think most people would say don’t go more than 3” wider on the tire on the rim like I have 38 16 16 on I think were 12” rims they look like balloons but they did there job

I was just going through my posts on my profile and saw this one. I didnt mean what Bezel it was, I meant the headlight itself. It looks weird, since its black and has the silver in the center.

Ahhh. Thats what I thought.Trust me, I know. Even my HIDs didnt put out any light with my black conversion lenses. So I had to buy chrome ones. Much better.

This is an extreme case, but people do it all the time, its a certain "look" they are going for.

Yes it is a 215 on an 11" rim.
